Midnight Vent
I can never understand how an old emotional experience manages to attach itself and continues to linger even when ample time has been given to diminish it. I won’t go into further details, but it’s just silly that after all these years I’m still struck by these nightmares. I hate it, the greatest regret of my life.
An advice to my younger friends: don’t ever fully invest your time and energy in a person and expect any sort of return from that person. In other words, you can still spend your time on whoever you want, but if you are expecting something from them, you will most likely, almost certainly, be disappointed. In other words of my other words, don’t expect anything.
There’s just only a small number of people on earth who have the characteristic of not disappointing people. These odds are something you don’t want to bet on. If you know someone like that, consider yourself lucky. But of course, everything could just be a front. Only time will reveal their true character. Have the patience to find out.
I found out. Biggest waste of my time. I’m such a loser. >_<
A lesson for writers.
Weak writing: Because it is a sunny day, I am walking the dog.
Better writing: I am walking the dog because it is a sunny day.
Salt Lake City, Utah
Using Tumblr again.
Visited Salt Lake City, Utah and did some amazing things: learned a whole lot about venture investing, picked up some inspirational advices, met the CEO of Skull Candy; founder of Xooters; founder of textfromlastnight.com, and a bunch of other cool people. Loved it.
Things are created to be used.
The reason why the world is in chaos,
is because things are being loved,
and people are being used. Unknown
Stay, don’t go.
It’s fascinating how a single glance at a complete stranger can lighten up an otherwise gloomy mood, and how swiftly enthusiasm diminishes the moment she leaves the room.

The way the Tower fell was scary as fuck. Look, it didn’t just break off, it crashed down as if it was a domino effect, floor by floor. There were people in that building. Take a moment out of your day and reblog this for the people who saved lives that day and for the poor souls who didn’t make it.
